October is Domestic Violence (DV) Awareness Month (USA)
Everyday we should acknowledge and spread awareness for DV survivors and be a voice for victims/survivors.
Statistics: In the US, more than 10 million women and men are abused in their household per year. Domestic violence is widespread throughout all communities, no matter the sexual orientation, race, gender, religion or culture.
